I bought a piece of frozen mutton from you at the last Wallingford farmers market and it was excellent. It was the first time I had roasted a mutton joint and I had heard that the flavour might be strong and even gamey but it was just delicious and I'm not sure why everyone isn't eating it. I will certainly be buying more. It tasted all the better knowing the animal was more mature when slaughtered rather than being a youngster. Jennie, Wallingford

I just wanted to let you know that the lamb I bought from you recently really is the best lamb we have ever tasted! It is so tender and 'melts in the mouth'. We would like to thank you for your wonderful hospitality on Thursday we had an amazing day. We were so impressed with your passion and commitment and how you managed to keep going on so little sleep. We were exhausted by the end of the day and we had had a full nights sleep. The quality of the animal husbandry was first class, your knowledge and care of the sheep and lambs was of the highest standard. The variety of the tasks we were able to get involved in was fantastic we especially enjoyed the actual lambing but working with Belle was also a great experience. We hope the quads continue to do well and the little triplets are making good progress. We have told our stories to anyone who would listen.  Kinnon and Phil, Wirral
